Shadows in the Fog CyclopediaWelcome to the Shadows in the Fog Cyclopedia, a wiki of information and resources for players of Shadows in the Fog and anyone else interested in the creepier side of Victorian London. Please read this information before editing pages. There is some information, particularly content-flagging, that must be included with every addition, and if you don’t understand the rules that will be a problem. No matter what else you do, do not edit pages until you have carefully read this material on Flagging Content. There is a longer and clearer discussion at ContentFlagging, which you need to read if you intend to make more than a few trifling changes -- and really, even then. This is not a discussion forum. There are lots of those out there; please don’t try to use the Cyclopedia that way. Everything marked “Invention” is completely made up. If you are a researcher or just a browser, please do not take anything marked “invention” as claiming historical value of any kind. Shadows in the Fog is a tabletop roleplaying game of occult horror in Jack the Ripper’s London. It is heavily dependent on historical information, but the creations of its players, marked as “inventions,” are pure fiction. Shadows in the Fog has its base website here, of which this cyclopedia is a subsection. The website has all the rules of the game, a lot of links, bibliographies, images, and other things of that kind.
