Shadows In The Fog

Scrying

Scrying is done through a glass (crystal ball or whatever), a pool of ink, tea leaves, or something of the kind. If you want to be good at scrying, you should pick a favorite, although you can probably scry by other means if you have to (take some Concessions on this). As a rule, scrying is a way of seeing things now, rather than in the future, although it is sometimes used for prophetic purposes. The classic use of scrying is what is now called “remote sensing,” in which you see (usually) what’s happening somewhere other than where you are now.
