"On Saturday, 6th May, 1882, the incoming Chief Secretary for Ireland, Lord Frederick Cavendish, arrived in Dublin. That evening as he and the Under-Secretary, T. H. Burke, were walking through the Phoenix Park to their Lodges they were stabbed to death."
