Lord SalisburyRobert Arthur Talbot Gascoyne Cecil, 3d Marquess of Salisbury (1830-1903), PrimeMinister from the ConservativeParty in 1885, 1886-1891, and 1895-1902. A deeply principled and austere man, Salisbury voted with his conscience at times when it went against his party principles.
