Major/Doctor Henri Le Caron (1841-1894)

Born Thomas Billis Beach at Colchester, he emigrated to Paris in 1857 and then to the United States in 1861. He fought in the Civil War under a French alias which he retained while working as a spy for the British government from 1866, recruited by RobertAnderson. An important source of information first on the FenianBrotherhood^? and later ClanNaGael, returned to England in late 1887 to appear before the SpecialCommission^? of 1888.
